Where I make a pun about shaving

If William of Occam was alive today, I'm pretty sure he'd use something like this:

Simple Razor

and not any of these:

Not simple razors

And before you go telling me that he would abandon all "shaving systems" (the industry has banned the term "razor") for a straight razor, recall that Occam preaches simplicity, not stupidity.

And now, thanks to you, I have learned something... Sorry, but I did not get it at first. But now I know all about Occam's razor (or shaving system, whatever :P) and Lex Parsimoniae!

When did that ban on "razor" occur by the way? And why?

If you want to see how far razor marketing (not the sharpened steel, just the marketing) has evolved, take a look at Gillete Fusion's futuristic "lab" where razor science happens on some Dune-like planet.
